Some progress shots of the Ralston Building in Albany. Floors are up, roofing is down and cedar shake is off the exterior walls. Currently working on breaking down the trusses. The floor joists are really beautiful now that the floors are up and we can see them. They are S2S circle sawn 2x8s with a nice dark patina and great saw marks. The ship lap that was hiding under the cedar shake has great patina too. Lots of staining from the shake  and great saw marks- it will be beautiful wall cladding. Several old glass bottles were found under the building dating from the 1920s and these are going to be on display in the new fire department.
